The Best-Kept Secret of successful people

Some of the most successful people in the world use coaches and it’s no accident. What all high achievers know is that they need someone who can give them an objective view on the results they are working to create in their lives. A coach not only holds you accountable for the results you desire, a Coach also provides you with insights and strategies you can use to achieve those results in the best way possible.

What is a Coach?

A Personal Coach is someone who can help ignite potential. A Coach facilitates critical new insights, enabling an individual to set targeted goals and take deliberate action. Coaching assists in seeing where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there. He or She challenges the individual to accomplish more and to contribute more. A Coach is someone who:

  • Helps break through limiting fears and beliefs
  • Helps problem solve and find solutions
  • Provides focus and helps keep you motivated
  • Supports and Encourages pursuit of goals

How is “Coaching” Different from “Counseling?”

Coaching is not therapy or counseling. A Coach is very action oriented and asks you WHAT you are willing to do, WHEN will you do it, and HOW will you get it done. A Coach will hold you accountable. And, while deep empathetic listening is central to both coaching and counseling, coaching focuses on moving you forward in life. The direction is always forward as you overcome obstacles and continually move toward your personal and professional goals.

What Happens During a Typical Coaching Session?

Each session will be different, based on the wants and needs at that time. In general, the Coach will listen, ask questions to clarify or evoke further information, give feedback, brainstorm ideas, and challenge. In addition, you can expect encouragement and validation for successes, and the wisdom to help find the learning in failures and mistakes, while helping an individual see the bigger picture. The Coach may also make requests, give assignments, and/or suggest actions that will most effectively move an individual closer to his/her goals.

What types of people have Coaches?

People from all walks of life work with professional Coaches to help attain their goals. Life Coaches work with people in all areas of their life including relationships, career, finance, health and more. Working with a personal Coach is not limited to any type of person, but is best for those who want to take initiative in their own life. People who get a Life Coach are committed to a more fulfilled life and are willing to do the work needed to get there.

Can Students benefit from having a personal coach?

The challenges facing parents and students today have become more complex given the overwhelming amount of information available coupled with limitations on time due to the daily routines of caregiving, family activities, school, work, etc. An unbiased and unemotional third party will alleviate some of the pressures by providing an outlet to help the students “connect the dots”… create a plan … and get the JOB DONE!

Parents have peace of mind knowing that their son/daughter is more knowledgeable about career choices which extends the value of money being spent on colleges, universities and various other institutions leveraged to improve a student’s chances to succeed.

The LOFT Network will help students:

  • Identify skills, talents, aptitude, and values
  • Develop new skills
  • Unlock hidden potential
  • Overcome “career fear” by reducing anxiety
  • Develop strategies to overcome hurdles and achieve goals
  • Enhance performance and maximize results

How will Coaching help?

The results will vary depending on what brings you to a Coach. If you get a personal Coach to help you out professionally, coaching can help you make your current job more gratifying, gain better focus on managing your work, and market yourself more effectively. If your reasons are personal, you can find a personal coach to help you improve your relationships, resolve ongoing negative behaviors, improve your overall health, and grow spirituality. With life coaching you can live a more balanced and enhanced life, and make your dreams come true!

Do I really need a personal Coach, can’t I just do it by myself?

Personal coaching can take you above and beyond your own personal limitations. More often than not, people try to achieve their greatest potential, but don’t even realize what stands in their way. A personal Coach can offer an unbiased and objective perspective, and can help you realize your patterns and habits. Most people experience that they are more efficient when working with a Professional Life Coach and that this provides the opportunity for them to better realize their potential. Life coaching can make your dreams attainable and will give you support and encouragement along the way.

How can businesses and various organizations leverage a Coach?

  • A coach is an extra hand offering a third party POV to assist with emerging talent, people in transition, people in distress and experienced professionals in need of a “pick-me-up”. Examples include:
Shorten the time of a New Hire’s “Value” breakeven.
  • Extra hand for Manager to ensure goals are met.
  • Help acclimate a person in transition to the “new” culture while shining a light on opportunities to create impact.
  • Help individuals stay focused on the most critical short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Provide an immediate support system for those individuals in high-stress situations.
  • Provide focus to goals and objectives and help produce the optimal results in the shortest amount of time.

How is Coaching different from Therapy?

While the life coaching we provide can be therapeutic, it is not therapy. Coaching is distinct from traditional therapy because it is not designed to address psychological issues. While emotional issues may arise, the primary focus of personal  coaching is to help you identify your goals, achieve them, and develop constructive habits and skills. There is little emphasis placed on the past with coaching, but instead the focus is on creating what you want now and in the future.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 24 hour notice to cancel all sessions. Please be sure to contact us if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment in order to avoid being charged for the session.

How long do people generally work with a Personal Coach?

To experience the effectiveness of a coaching program, I suggest clients make an initial three-month commitment. At the end of the three months, we will evaluate progress and discuss options for continued coaching.

Is personal life coaching confidential?

What we discuss will be held in confidence and not shared with others. However, our discussions are not privileged for legal purposes. The privilege of confidentiality that exists for the clergy, therapists and attorneys is not granted to coaching professionals. That said, life coaching is a confidential process, and your personal information will always be protected.

The greatest gift that you can give yourself is to TRULY know yourself and ACCEPT what that means!
